License to Thrive

President Barack Obama nominated Solicitor General Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court to replace liberal retiring Justice John Paul Stevens.  At age 50, if confirmed, Kagan would be the court's youngest justice and would be the fourth female Supreme Court Justice in history. Additionally, the Court would have three female members for the first time ever.
