Pride, Passion and Power

The 2008 "Pride, Passion and Power" is a one hour TV special produced by ESPN that takes an inside look at the past, present and future of women's college basketball.  As Title IX celebrates its 35th anniversary year, the show's "where are they now" segment will feature Brig. General Michelle Johnson, a former Air Force player and now one of the highest ranking females in the armed  forces.  We will catch-up with Candace Parker, presently a senior star  at the University of Tennessee who is on track for a second consecutive Player of the Year bid.  We'll also hear from members of the University  of Virginia squad who take us along on their "life changing" summer trip to Africa.  

 

Lastly, "Pride Passion and Power" will highlight female basketball stars of the future with an inside look at the top 5 High School national players of the year. Fans of women's basketball will marvel at the skill levels of Elena Della Done, April Skyles and Glory Johnson.
