The company also sponsors “Embrace Life” which educates women on the importance of Life Insurance and planning for the future.  State Farm is also a sponsor of the Youth Advisory Board, Habitat for Humanity and a National Service Learning Partner.

State Farm’s commitment to women in business includes its supplier diversity program through which the company does business with female-owner companies.  It is also a key supporter of the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit, a three-day executive leadership conference designed especially for professional women of color.  State Farm has also been designated as one of the Top 50 Corporations for Supplier Diversity by Hispanic Trend magazine and one of the 40 Best Companies for Diversity by Black Enterprise.

The company’s educational commitments also include scholarship programs and support of the American Indian Scholarship Fund, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and the National Merit Scholarship.

In the sports realm, State Farm is widely recognized as a top supporter of women’s sports and women athletes.  The company has been the title sponsor of the Ladies Professional Golf Association’s State Farm Classic since 1993.  Its involvement in women’s basketball includes the annual Tip-Off Classic, the State Farm Coaches All-American Team as well as the sponsor of the Wade Trophy, which is presented annually to the best women’s basketball player in NCAA Division 1.  State Farm is also an NCAA Corporate Partner and a sponsor of the USA Basketball Women’s National Team.
