On June 17, The White House Project, The Women's Media Center and the Maynard Institute for Journalism Education will sponsor a forum to debate and discuss how the media creates and reflects public perceptions of presidential candidates. Issues of race, gender, age, and class have dominated public and private conversations around the country over the course of this election season and the featured panelists will discuss the role that the media has played during the 2008 election process.
Featured panelists include Christiane Amanpour, Mika Brzezinski, Catalina Camia, Sue Carroll, Callie Crossley, Juan Gonzalez, Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Celinda Lake, Courtney Martin, Pamela Newkirk, Geneva Overholser, Ron Walters and Patricia Williams.
